Many hosting companies store up to 1000 websites on a single server. Not only can this make your website slow, and affect your SEO, it can lead to all sorts of vulnerabilities and openings for hackers, bots, and spammers. Here at Lucky Cat Studio, we only store up to 10 websites on one server.
Teamed up with a care plan, your site will have regular security scans, plugin updates, spam filtering, daily backups, regular optimisation, and have access to my agency level plugins.
This ensures it stays fast, free from malware, and protected from hackers.

Unfortunately, no. Tech moves so fast and many hackers have the skills and resources to outwit commonly used software and security features. These plans give your site the best chance of protection against most forms of hacking and malware, but are not 100% foolproof. If your site does get hacked, I will do my absolute best to get it fixed, but in a tiny amount of cases it may require more specialist care which might involve a fee.
Hosting and website care plans can be paid monthly or annually via direct debit of your credit/debit card. All customers who have a new website built by me will get their first month of hosting FREE!
Lucky Cat Studio has teamed up with our hosting partner Cloudways, to deliver you with high performance cloud based website hosting services. They have servers all over the world in highly secure facilities to ensure your website stays safely online. We generally choose a server in a location that is closest to your target audience in order to deliver your website content to them as quickly as possible.
In many cases, yes. For hosting, I offer a free migration service to those who would like to switch over to my hosting.
For maintenance packages, this will be determined on a case by case basis and will depend on how the site is built, what plugins it uses, and how it is performing. Please contact me to discuss.
Although we would be sad to see you go, yes of course you can cancel. A minimum of one full month’s written notice is required. Unfortunately we are unable to give pro-rata refunds if you have paid annually.
If you do not wish to host your new website with LCS, your site will be transferred to your preferred host at launch. For a lower cost option, I recommend Cloudways shared hosting to my clients, due to their great customer service, security, and performance features.
